Jack Snowden, CIMA®, CFP®, MBA
Jack Snowden is the president, founder and owner of Thomas Point Financial. Jack advises clients on financial matters in the pursuit of their life goals: Retirement, wealth accumulation and others. Jack's clients are usually experienced investors who have often saved a meaningful portion of the assets they will need in retirement, and appreciate Jack's goal to provide a personalized and coordinated approach to planning and asset management.
Jack has over 29 years of financial services experience, having previously worked as a Vice President and financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (and predecessors Smith Barney and Legg Mason Wood Walker) and Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at Bank of America.
Jack is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) having completed these certification programs with the Wharton School of Business and Bryant University, respectively. Jack earned an M.B.A. at the Loyola University of Maryland and a degree in Finance from the University of Maryland--Go Terps.
A number of years ago, Jack served as a Board Director for the Prince Georges County Economic Development corporation where he was Board Treasurer, Chair of the High Tech Committee and High Tech Incubator Advisory Board and a member of the Executive Committee. Previously he has been a member of the Prince Georges/Maryland Tech Council, volunteered for the March of Dimes and served as a council member to the United Way.
Eileen Snowden, M.Ed.
Eileen Snowden is the Client Service & Relationships Liaison for Thomas Point Financial. Her number one goal is to provide warm, friendly and timely client service experiences that help our clients meet or exceed their goals and expectations. Some of these services include opening new accounts, preparing account related documentation and fulfilling client requests.
Prior to joining Thomas Point Financial, Eileen spent 30 years working as a classroom teacher and school counselor for Calvert County Public Schools. In these roles, she worked directly with
children and their families to help them reach their full potential.
For many years, Eileen led her school’s Angel Tree Program and coordinated the Heartfelt Backpack Program, providing food to children in need. Eileen was selected as her school’s “Teacher of the Year,” and received Official Citations from both the Maryland General Assembly and a United States Senator from Maryland in recognition of her work in creating a healthy environment free of alcohol and other drug abuse.
Eileen earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in College Park and graduate degree in School counseling from Loyola University in Baltimore.
Eileen & Jack Away From the Office
Away from the office Eileen and Jack, who have been married for almost 30 years, enjoy spending time at the beach, running and visiting with family and friends. They have two grown children and a rescue dog, Ellie.
Their daughter Jenny (28) lives in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore, Md. and works in digital marketing at Marriott’s headquarters in Bethesda, Md. Their son Jonathan (23) lives in Atlanta. Ga. and works in sales for the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
